Cats and dogs find anti-freeze quite tasty and if they come across a spill, they will lick it. Keep new and used antifreeze in sealed containers, away from pets. If a cat walks through a puddle of antifreeze, then licks his paws, he can ingest enough antifreeze to become gravely ill or even die.
